Indication and Application
For the percutaneous introduction of diagnostic and therapeutic catheters with long dwelling time, such as:

• permanent and temporary bipolar pacing electrodes
• port catheters
• urological catheters

The splittable sheath may be completely removed after catheter placement without necessity to re-position the catheter. A swivel nut ensures a safe connection of dilator and sheath to prevent detachment during insertion.
